DJ Severina

Severina has been spinning and producing drum and bass since September of ’00. She is a newcomer to the scene, but has already established herself in Miami and elsewhere due to her work with BassDrive and FloridaDnB. Severina is known for her quick chops and long mixes and she’s known to bring an arsenal of hard tunes to the dancefloor.

In 2002, she played at several events in and around WMC. She is the new owner of BassDrive – the largest drum & bass radio station on the web. Keeping her busy are the 2 shows on the station and 2 residencies around town – Tuesday nights at Ground Up, and Friday nights at Maximum Fridays. 2003 has proved to be an even stronger year, with her first out of state gig in Utah at Alien Invasion on New Years Eve.

BassDrive is the largest 24/7 drum & bass online streaming internet radio station. She is heading up the BassDrive broadcast operation from WMC once again this year, and will be running a few live broadcasts from the venues – Sister SF, World of Drum & Bass, and many more. She was recently sponsored by Karmaloop.com and can be seen wearing Lithium, Fiction Design, among other manufacturers they carry.

Severina also owns FloridaDnB. Together with 3 others who help run it with her, FloridaDnB is the largest drum and bass information center for all of Florida with over 1900 users.
