Back in the late 90s, Colleen Arndt (DJ Miss Innocent), first came in contact with the electronic music culture only to become acquainted with the art of spinning and and the underground scene through DJ Dr Phreak. In the fall of '97 she helped Dr Phreak and some friends run the 1409 Afterhours. It became quite popular in the Vancouver underground as they were able to host such djs as Mike Huckaby and David Alvarado. She then took up djing in 1999.

Colleen quickly became a crowd favorite with her enthusiasm for techno, tech-trance and acid trance. Playing alongside her peers, Lori the hifi Princess and Dekoze, she quickly built up a rapport with the budding scene to allow her to be billed with techno mainstays such as Chris Liberator, Mark EG, DAVE the Drummer, Massimo, Slobodan aka Staffan Ehrlin, Renato Cohen, Jay Denham, British Murder Boys, Billy Nasty and Geezer. She has also had the opportunity to play at some of the best venues around (Hifi Bar-Melbourne Australia, Sun City-Graz Austria, Warehouse-Calgary Canada, Sonar-Vancouver Canada, Cube-Quebec City Canada, Club Extravaganza-Croatia, Papillon-Croatia, Stereodrome-Slovakia, Kuca Club-Belgrade Serbia, Fleda-Bruno Czech Rep, Fabric-Ostrava Czech Rep, Supalova Club-Slovakia, Obsession Festival-Austria, Cazin Club-Austria, Cosmic Trip-Czech Rep).

From 1998-2003, Colleen worked with the Soundproof Crew putting on 200-300 person underground events in Vancouver Canada. However, near the end of 2003 she decided to move to Graz Austria to focus more on production and djing. She is currently working on producing her own music and has also been collaborating in the studio with Lori the hifi Princess and they are working on putting out some releases soon. She is also helping run the new techno record label, Goathead Records, that was started up by Swedish dj/producer Slobodan (aka Staffan Ehrlin).

In addition to djing and producing, Colleen has become a monthly columnist for the Australian based electronic music website, 12AM.COM.AU. This monthly column will feature dj interviews, event reviews/pictures and news about the Austrian techno scene.
