DJ Honey B

The Honey B's style is unique, dark beauty with a technical sting that is guaranteed to rock the crowd. Her mission as a drum and bass DJ is to take her colony buzzing on a musical journey into the future.

She mixes up her format when playing tag-team sets with her partner, Sifu (on 2 or 4 decks) and battle DJ Mad Degree. The Honey B pollinates clubs and parties throughout the Bay Area and across The Pond. She is a regular at Lightseed, Cyberfest, Happy Kids and Cool World Raves, as well as San Francisco productions Eklektic and Static. She is a resident at Betalounge, has provided music for several San Francisco fashion shows and has been hosted by Crewsade, Step 2K, The Gathering and lots of other raves. Her personal coup de etat is swarming the dancefloor with mad US beats at The Shrine in Brighton, UK.

Her Internet sets can be heard in the archives of Betalounge and X-Radio, and tapes of shows on KALX 90.7 and London's famous RUDE FM 88.2 are available by special request.

The Honey B is proud to have shared the decks with Kemistry & Storm, Reinforced DJs Dego, Stretch and Rebel, DJ Lee and Peshay, as well as MC ?, MC Duh and MC Angel. Her skills and dedication to drum and bass have earned her recognition in Spin, BAM, Phazer, XLR8R, URB and Esquire magazines and The Skinny.

Her most recent, and most important, contribution to the future of drum and bass is the birth of Thermal Recordings, a new label fronted by herself and DJ Sifu, featuring cutting-edge drum and bass.
