Gina Renee sings with San Francisco-based band Soulstice, making wonderfully passionate music that can only be described as futuristic soul. Soulstice's music is unquestionably alive, bursting with echoes of the past while remaining transfixed on the possibilities of tomorrow.

The band - Gabe Rene, Andy Caldwell, and Mei-Lwun Yee - craft tapestries of melodies and grooves that range in influence from the rhythms of old delta blues to the vibrant tempos of house and hip-hop. Front woman Gina Rene infuses the proceedings with her unique, earthy jazz singing vibe - one moment vocalizing feelings of loneliness and love over DJ scratches, strings and cosmically emotive guitars, the next having her poetic musings buoyed by keyboards and rhythmic dance beats. It is a mixture that is nothing short of pure intoxication. At SISTER events, Gina Renee vocalises over all different types of music to wonderful effect.
