Sister PDX Resident DJ Cozmix Vixen

From pounding US/UK hard house, to driving techno, hard trance, acid, speed garage and funky house, Cozmix Vixen’s explosive sets are anything but ordinary! With her creativity, track selection, skill and energy behind the decks, she is proving to be one of the most promising up and coming hard dance DJs in the North West US.

Growing up in a musical family, Vixen showed strong musical talent from an early age. At age 5 she started playing piano. Through out childhood classical music always inspired her and she dreamed of becoming a composer. It wasn’t until the age of 13 that she was first introduced to electronica. Ambient groups such as Enigma, Future Sound of London, and A Positive Life were heavy influences and she knew she had found her niche. Soon she discovered the music of Paul Van Dyk, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold and eventually that of hard dance, which she instantly fell in love with. It was only a matter of time before Vixen took to the decks and taught herself to mix, soon landing regular gigs at clubs and raves through out the northwest.

Her involvement in SisterPDX started the Passion series of parties in the fall of 2003. In 2004 she gained residency with Feeling-of-Life in the UK, and will make her debut there in September 2004. Between gigs at clubs, raves and outdoor parties all over the Northwest US, she also holds a weekend residency at a local club in her hometown of Vancouver, WA.
